DURHAM — In its regular season finale, No. 2 North Carolina field hockey (15-0, 8-0) dominated No. 6 Duke (11-5, 6-2), 5-2, on Friday night at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium.

In its last regular season game, No. 3 Virginia field hockey conquered Wake Forest in Winston Salem, N.C. After a heartbreaking shutout loss to North Carolina last week, the Cavaliers (13-3, 6-2 ACC) came into this game determined to play their best and end their regular season with a bang against the Demon Deacons (7-10, 2-6 ACC). They were able to do just that, coming out on top in overtime 2-1.

Maryland midfielder Kylee Niswonger dribbled near the right baseline as the Terps searched for an early second half goal at Penn State on Friday. Niswonger fired a pass in front of the cage, where freshman Annemijn Klijnhout deflected it in.

In its final 2024 regular season game, No. 7 Maryland field hockey traveled to State College, Pennsylvania, and defeated No. 17 Penn State, 4-2.
Terps Earn No. 2 Seed as Maryland Set To Host B1G Field Hockey Tournament
COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Big Ten Conference released the official bracket for the 2024 Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament. The Terps will enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 Iowa on Thursday, November 7 at 2 p.m. Northwestern, the No. 1 seed, will have a bye in the first round.

Drexel Earns Regular Season Championship in Double Overtime Thriller at Delaware, 2-1
NEWARK, Del. – Drexel took down Delaware in double overtime, 2-1, to capture the CAA regular season title for the first time since 2010. The Dragons finished conference play undefeated, posting a 6-0 record. Drexel will host the CAA tournament at Buckley Field and will be the number one overall seed.

Temple went into the fourth quarter of its game against Quinnipiac on Friday clinging to a one-goal lead in a desperate attempt to finally end its three-game skid. The Owls struck early with a first-quarter goal from back Alizé Maes to give Temple its first opening-quarter goal since defeating Georgetown on Oct. 18.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Seemingly countless scenarios swirled around Ball State field hockey’s final regular season match against Bellarmine Friday evening. If the Cardinals lost, but one of Ohio or Longwood lost too, Ball State would make the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament as a fifth or sixth seed.

Hofstra Falls at Home in CAA Finale
Hempstead, NY – In the final game of the Coastal Athletic Association for the Hofstra field hockey team, the Pride suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Northeastern. Teresa Karoff scored the lone goal for the hosts as the Pride ends its CAA schedule with a 2-4 record, while the loss puts Hofstra's overall record at 4-14.
No. 12 Syracuse field hockey falls 1-0 to No. 9 Boston College in regular season finale
On an emotional senior day here at Coyne stadium, 12th ranked Syracuse field hockey’s regular season ended in heartbreak. The orange fell to ninth ranked Boston College one nothing. BC netted their lone goal of the contest off an attacking penalty corner in the fourth quarter. It’s not like Syracuse didn’t have a APC chances of their own. SU had five in the final frame, yet failed to score on any of them. For Head Coach Lynn Farquhar, that’s something that needs to be tidied up.
