9. FLICK OVER THE RIVER

Two players are separated by a neutral zone between 5m and 10m wide (dependent on their performance level) which they cannot enter. The younger player is given three balls which he must flick one after another over the "river" in such a way, that they do not drop between the two parallel lines. Then its the other players turn.

The winner is the first player to execute three consecutive valid "flicks over the river", unless the other player achieves the same result in the same turn. In this case there is a play off for which the "river" is made wider.

Training objectives:

To execute a flick in a technically correct way over a distance of between 5 to 10m
