Tickets for both the 2009 Samsung Women's Champions Trophy (Sydney) and the 2009 ABN AMRO Men's Champions Trophy (Melbourne) will be available in 2009 as per the below information:

UK Sport, which funds the Olympic and Paralympic sports for their elite activities today announced that hockey would be receiving £14.1m for the four year period 2009-2013 for the build up to and preparation for the London 2012 Olympics.  At about £3.5m per annum this is about a 25% increase on the annual funding that was provided for the recent Olympiad.

Basketball, synchronised swimming, taekwondo, boxing, archery and hockey are the big winners in UK Sport's Olympic 2012 funding programme.

Following further assessment at camps over the weekend of 21-23 November the following players have been selected to join the National Age Group U16/U18 Programme for the 2008-09 season.
