Lets look at an example. If I want to call my folks in Johannesburg the access number on weekdays is 0844 570 3565. Once the connection is made and I hear the pre-recorded message I then just dial 0027 11 646 xxxx and wait for it to ring. Voila. "Hi Mum and Dad" for the price of a UK call!

Save the access number in your phone's memory!
You can even call from your mobile or from a call box (If calling from a mobile phone remember to only press the call or send button after dialling the access number but not again after dialling the destination number)
Does it work?
Before using this method of calling South Africa, 38 minutes of calls cost me £12.77.
Using this method 2 hours 40 minutes of calls cost me £8.50! I am going to continue using it.
Why is Fieldhockey.com offering this?
Simple. There are a number of hockey players from all around the world playing hockey in the UK. Most are on very tight budgets and that call home is very expensive by normal means. This gives those players the opportunity to phone home at a reasonable price. The small commission paid to me by the operators, Just Dial, pays to keep the site running. It is really as simple as it sounds and there are no catches but if you have any questions please email me george@fieldhockey.com
