FIH Hockey Pro League: Action goes global in February 



The FIH Hockey Pro League returns in February with an action-packed series of matches across Asia, Europe and Oceania, as the world’s best men’s and women’s teams continue their quest for points in the race to grab the trophy and the first available spots at the Hockey tournament in the LA28 Olympic Games.

The Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) has announced a 37-member preliminary squad for the Men’s Asian Games Qualification Hockey Tournament, which will be held in Muscat, the capital of Oman, from 25 March to 5 April.

Bhubaneswar: Ranchi Royals registered a sensational 3-2 win against Hyderabad Toofans in Qualifier 2 of the Hero Hockey India League 2026 (Men) here at the iconic Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar. It was a hat-trick of goals by Tom Boon (13', 15', 34') that ensured Royals book their place in the final against Vedanta Kalinga Lancers on Monday. Meanwhile, for Toofans Jacob Anderson (5') and Amandeep Lakra (38') scored a goal each.

Boon converted twice from Penalty Corners and once from a Stroke to hand the Royals a 3-2 win and secure a place in the title match.
