Japan win Men's Summer of Hockey opener
The Men’s Summer of Hockey got underway in Hamilton under blue skies and true summer conditions, as the Vantage Black Sticks Men took on Japan in the opening match of their three-test series at the Gallagher Hockey Centre. A lively crowd, music, and festival atmosphere set the scene for an exciting start, a sharp contrast to the colder conditions seen earlier in the women’s series in Dunedin.
Not the end of the road for Manpreet Singh & Co: Hockey India
While Manpreet, Dilpreet Singh and Krishan Bahadur Pathak won’t figure in the first two legs of the Pro League, Hockey India officials have made it clear it doesn’t mean the end of their playing careers.
