Fieldhockey.com adds another service
The sharper eyed might have noticed the appearance of an RSS icon just below the site's logo. This is a fairly new tecnology that feeds content from RSS enabled sites to your computer. It contains the headline, a teaser paragraph and a link to the full story.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way for to check if the site has been updated without always having to come through to the site.
The first thing you will need to make use of this service is RSS reader software. There are many free readers available such as RssReader or Feedreader for Windows or Thunderbird for Linux and Windows or you can find a full list here.
Next you need to plug the address below into your RSS reader.

There are many other news sources that do RSS feeds and Fieldhockey.com adds to getting your daily new fix easier.
(RssReader is highly recommended. It will sit in the system tray and automatically search for new feeds at intervals from every 10 minutes to monthly which is specified by you. It will optionally make a sound when there are new headlines and will also optionally popup a box displaying the new headlines. Best of all it's free!)
