Jharkhand gears up to host FIH Hockey Olympics Qualifiers Ranchi 2024

FIH Hockey Olympics Qualifiers Ranchi 2024 will be held in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India from 13 to 19 January 2024. The other three FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers will be played in Muscat, Oman (Men’s – 15-21 January 2024) and Valencia, Spain (Women’s and Men’s – 13-21 January)



Ranchi:  Jharkhand is all set to host the FIH Hockey Olympics Qualifiers Ranchi 2024, scheduled to take place from 13 to 19 January 2024 at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astro Turf Hockey Stadium in Ranchi. This prestigious event is one of the three Olympics Qualifiers happening globally, with counterparts in Muscat, Oman (Men’s) and Valencia, Spain (Women’s and Men’s).

Ranchi: With their sights set on a third consecutive Olympic berth, the Indian Women’s Hockey Team arrived in Ranchi, Jharkhand on Wednesday evening for the much-awaited FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers 2024. The Indian team led by seasoned goalkeeper Savita will begin their campaign on 13th January 2024 against the United States, a team they fought against in 2019 for a ticket to the Tokyo Olympics.





Blow for India as forward Vandana Katariya ruled out due to cheekbone fracture

Vandana will be replaced by youngster Baljeet Kaur, while local star Nikki Pradhan has been named as the Vice Captain.

Ranchi: With their sights set on their maiden Olympic berth, the Italy Women’s Hockey Team arrived in Ranchi, Jharkhand on Thursday morning for the highly-awaited FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers 2024. The Italian team led by Co-Captains Federica Carta and Sara Puglisi will begin their campaign on 13th January 2024 against the New Zealand, which will be the first meeting between the two teams in seven years.
