KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia overpowered South American champions Chile 2-1 in Group A of the Junior World Cup in Bhubaneswar today for a big boost to their campaign.
France give defending champions India the Blues
When France tread the Kalinga turf, they don their giant-killing gear. On Wednesday, in their 2021 FIH Men’s Junior World Cup opener, it were hosts and defending champions India who were slain. The score 5-4. In 2018, at the FIH World Cup, they did Olympic champions Argentina in, 5-3, on the very turf.

South Africa: FIH Inks Broadcasting Deal With SABC

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has signed a media rights agreement with South Africa's national public broadcaster SABC for the upcoming FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup South Africa 2021. This is the first time that FIH signs a partnership with SABC, and the agreement sees the company produce all matches of the event and broadcast them in South Africa, either live or delayed.
