Nkosi Cup 2025 | Day Four – Morning Session



The Day Four morning session of the Nkosi Cup 2025 brought the group stages to a close, confirming Semi-Final line-ups and delivering statement performances from the tournament’s leading contenders. With top spots on the line and momentum at a premium, the morning produced dominant wins, measured performances and a clear sense that the knockout phase would deliver something special.

The Semi-Finals of the Nkosi Cup 2025 delivered everything knockout hockey promises intensity, drama, momentum swings and moments that defined careers. Familiar rivalries were renewed, debutants announced themselves on the biggest stage, and both South African teams booked their place in front of a passionate home crowd as the Finals line-up was confirmed.

Katie Mullan has achieved almost everything in international hockey, but up until last week she had never played a game in the FIH Pro League.



FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifier



The 2026 FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup Qualifier is taking place in Santiago, Chile from March 1 to March 8, 2026. This is one of two World Cup Qualifiers that is taking place in men’s hockey, with the happening simultaneously in Ismailia, Egypt. From this event, there are multiple avenues for qualification for the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup in Belgium & Netherlands. The two teams that make the finals will automatically qualify as will the winner of the bronze medal. After that, the highest world ranked 4th place team (between the two qualifying events) after the final day of the qualifiers, will also qualify for the World Cup. Roster and more details will be released in February, 2026.



SCHC and Den Bosch stars in Jong Oranje golden side



SCHC’s Maud van den Heuvel and Den Bosch’s Babs Reijnen and Lieve Wijckmans all played their part as the Netherlands defeated Argentina 2-1 in the women’s Junior World Cup final to reaffirm their historical dominance in the category.

While Wales battled with rain and grey skies, our U21 Women were shining bright in sun-soaked Santiago earlier this month, competing in the Junior World Cup.

Hockey Australia is proud to announce the 2026 National Men’s High Performance Squad, ahead of a packed international calendar leading up to the World Cup in August.

Clydesdale gallop to the top of the Scottish women's indoor national league

The top of the women's indoor National League Division 1 seems to have a familiar look, Clydesdale Western top with nine points from their three games along with a massive goal difference while Watsonians are on six after only two matches. GHK, Inverleith, Dundee Wanderers and Wildcats have three point and Hillhead and Grange have yet to get off the mark.



Local schools come together at new facility at Welsh school Rydal Penrhos



Following the successful unveiling of the new Astro Turf at Rydal Penrhos School in September 2025, the facility has been made available for community use.
