Ghana withdraws from Africa Hockey Cup over financial challenges

Ghana’s U-21 men’s and women’s hockey teams have pulled out of the upcoming Junior Africa Cup (JAC 2024), set to take place in Windhoek, Namibia, from April 18 to 25, 2025, due to financial constraints.

Jhansi, 12th April 2025: As we move towards the business end of the 15th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2025, Hockey Madhya Pradesh, Manipur Hockey and Hockey Punjab won their Quarter-Final ties and progressed ahead in the prestigious tournament, happening in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.

Jhansi  Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh  won their Quarter-final ties of the 15th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2025 today in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The semifinals will be between Punjab Vs UP and Manipur Vs MP.

There will be no love lost when former Kenyan national champions St Anthony’s Boys High School Kitale and holders Musingu High School face off in the boys’ hockey final of this year’s Brookside Secondary School’s national Term One games that end today in Mombasa.
