Germany and England set to meet as FIH Pro League continues

Germany and England are set to clash tomorrow and Thursday (May 5) in both the men's and women's International Hockey Federation (FIH) Pro League in Mönchengladbach.

FIH Pro League: Danas and Honamas meet England
The FIH Pro League games of the Danas and Honamas against England in the SparkassenPark in Mönchengladbach (May 4th and 5th) fall in the middle of the final phase of the Hockey Bundesliga. Nevertheless, both national teams compete against the English selection with their A-squad.
Ireland win the third match but Scotland win the series in Belfast
Scotland women lost 6-4 to Ireland in a very close and competitive contest in Belfast. The Scots won the series 3-2 after back-to-back victories in the first two encounters of the test matches.

A Thrilling Weekend At Lee Valley Hockey And Tennis Centre For The Master's Finals Championships
Saturday saw the start of the England Hockey Championship finals with the Men's O60s Tier 2 final starting it off. Lindum’s Chris Smith opened the score sheet late into the first half with an open play goal. It was a thrilling 20 minutes as both teams battled it out trying to get the win. Shrewsbury’s Robin Conway managed to sneak one passed the goalie to help bring his team back into the match but Tony Wing scored a last minute goal and lead Lindum to victory.
