Perabu raring for first international action at SoJC

KUALA LUMPUR: T. Perabu is as excited as a child going into the Sultan of Johor Cup (SoJC), which starts on Saturday in Johor Baru.

Indian junior hockey team captain Uttam Singh is confident about chances of his team winning Sultan Jhoot Cup.

Having lost the title narrowly last time, Indian men's junior hockey team will be keen to reclaim the Sultan of Johor Cup which is returning after three years following the COVID-9 pandemic, said skipper Uttam Singh confident of his team's resources.

During his first tenure, he embedded himself in the hockey community across Canada. He led the Junior Women National Team, as well as assisting with both the Senior Women and Senior Men. Since January 2022, Patrick has been with Hockey India as part of their Senior Women’s coaching staff.
