Canada Vs Chile – Women

Chile were slight favourites going into this match up. At the start of the game both the Canadian and Chilean women displayed some excellent passing all around the field with both defenses ready to withstand the test.

SAINT MICHAEL, Barbados – The U.S. U-21 Men’s National Team took on Barbados in the final match of Men’s division pool play at the 2023 Junior Pan American Championships at the Wildey Hockey Centre located in the Sir Garfield Sobers Sports Complex in Saint Michael, Barbados. Finishing with a 3-0 victory over the hosts, the Junior Wolves claimed the second place spot in Pool B and will move on to a semifinal match.

Sabbie Heesh and Miriam Pritchard will vie for the No.1 jersey as Great Britain women start life for the first time without the recently-retired Maddie Hinch.





RP Singh replaces Harbinder Singh as chairman of selection committee

Besides Singh, other members of the panel are Balwinder Singh, Mohd Riaz, MM Somaya, Subhadra Pradhan, Sardar Singh, BP Govinda, Chinglensana Singh Kanjugam, Rajnish Mishra, VR Raghunath, Sameer Dad, Yuvraj Walmiki, Joydeep Kaur and Asunta Lakra.

Bhubaneshwar: Hockey India recently divulged a selection of 33 top-tier players to form the core probable group for the Senior Women's national camp in SAI, Bengaluru. The core group will be preparing for the upcoming Australia Tour - a preparatory event leading up to the highly anticipated Asian Games in China. Making the list for the first time is 20-year-old Jyoti Chhatri. Jyoti is a national hockey cadet from the Sports Hostel in Sundargarh. Based on her immense promise she was transferred to Odisha Naval Tata Hockey HPC in 2021.
