Debutantes excited for taste of International hockey



We sat down with four of our upcoming Vantage Black Sticks debutantes to see how they are feeling ahead of this weekend’s FIH Pro League matches against Australia and Great Britain where they’ll have the opportunity to pull on the black shirt for the first time.

The Indian Men's Core Probable Group is gearing up for the upcoming FIH Hockey Pro League games in Europe



Bengaluru: With a busy season ahead of them, the Indian Men's Hockey Team is putting in the hard yards at SAI, Bengaluru where the ongoing national coaching camp is being held. The 39-member Core Group is gearing up for the upcoming FIH Hockey Pro League games in Europe where they take on Belgium and Great Britain in London followed by a short trip to Eindhoven, the Netherlands where they take on Argentina and hosts the Netherlands.





Mumtaz Khan keen to impress with Indian women’s hockey team

Mumtaz Khan was part of the women’s team which won silver in the 2018 Youth Olympics and courtesy of her hard work, she has risen through the ranks in recent year.

Mumtaz Khan, one of the brightest prospects in Indian women’s hockey right now, is among the players who are part of the ongoing senior women’s national coaching camp, which began on April 9 and will conclude on May 13, 2023 at SAI, Bengaluru.





Hockey Legend - Harmanpreet Singh

Indian men's hockey forward Harmanpreet Singh scored 135 goals in 174 international matches since he made his debut in international men's senior outdoor matches in the Test Match Series against Japan 2015.

Harmanpreet Singh was born on 6 January 1996 in Amritsar, Punjab started playing for Indian U 21 team in Sultan of Johor Cup, Johor Bahru, Malaysia in 2011and continued playing for this junior event in 2014 and 2015.

U-18 USWNT Concludes Europe Tour

ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands – Last week, the U.S. U-18 Women’s National Team returned from their Europe Tour, closing out the trip in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. After seeing a promising start to the tour, the team finished strong with a 4-1 victory over Hockey Club Rotterdam.





How Romsey Hockey Club Support Their Female Umpires



Pete Cooper is the Umpire Development lead at Romsey Hockey Club and has been developing an inclusive culture for their officials to share and learn together. The club is looking to create an environment that supports their officials with positive opportunities to feedback and discuss experiences in their recent matches. This fosters a community of peer support and learning and enables people to progress with officiating in the way that works best for them.  





Hockey Ireland CEO moving to International Role

The Board of Hockey Ireland wishes to announce that its CEO, Ronan Murphy is set to take up a senior role with an International Sporting Federation.
