Triumphant Dutch women secure FIH Hockey Pro League spoils, German men march on
The Netherlands women clinched the FIH Hockey Pro League title for a third time in four seasons with a fiercely contested 2-1 victory over Germany in Amsterdam. The win took their points tally to 37 with three games remaining, and out of reach of any of the chasing teams. In the earlier men’s match, the head-to-head battle between Germany and New Zealand ended with a 4-1 scoreline in favour of the world champions. However, that wasn’t entirely reflective of the hard-fought encounter.
Netherlands women crowned champions of FIH Hockey Pro League 2022/23
With their 2-1 victory over Germany today, Netherlands women have taken their points tally to 37 points from 13 games in the FIH Hockey Pro League 2022/23 season, which is an unassailable number for all the other 8 teams in the league, making Netherlands the champions of the FIH Hockey Pro League for the third time in the 4-year history of the tournament!
Oranje Dames win Pro League after victory over Germany
The Orange Ladies won the FIH Pro League on Monday evening in the Wagener Stadium. In Amstelveen, Germany was defeated 2-1 this time. It is the third time in four editions of the prestigious country competition that the Orange triumphs.
Prize packer de Waard - 'Happy that the Pro League Cup is back'
The Oranje Dames won the FIH Pro League on Monday evening . But there was a player on the field who won not one, but two prizes on the same evening. Xan de Waard (27) was named the best player of the Tulip Hoofdklasse Ladies in the warm-up of the game won against Germany.
