Indian Men's Hockey Team holds England to a 1-1 draw

Captain Harmanpreet Singh scored the lone goal for India in the 29th minute
 


Barcelona: The Indian Men’s Hockey Team came up with a strong performance to hold England 1-1 in their third match here at the ongoing 100th Anniversary Spanish Hockey Federation - International Tournament. While Sam Ward scored an early goal for England in the 5th minute, India bounced back to level the scores in the 29th minute through Harmanpreet Singh.





Torneo del Centenario 2023 hockey: India draw with England, fail to reach final

Harmanpreet Singh scored the solitary goal for India in a 1-1 draw. The Indian men’s hockey team will now play in the third-place playoff match on Sunday.

The England Women's team were beaten 2-0 in their third match in Terrassa, Spain. The deadlock was broken by Spain in the 20th minute when Clara Ycart converted a penalty corner. In the third quarter, Marta Segu doubled the host's lead with a field goal in the 36th minute.

Semi-Final Day at the EuroHockey Championship II Men.

Ireland’s first target from this tournament, which was to secure one of the two spots available in January’s Olympic Qualification Groups, was secured with a second half onslaught which saw them secure a 4-1 win and a place in the final. Scotland began the game very well and created numerous opportunities and they could have counted themselves unlucky not to have been 1-0 up by half time.

Chennai: The box office ticket sales for the upcoming Hero Asian Champions Trophy Chennai 2023 commenced today. Fans and sports enthusiasts will now be able to secure their seats to witness Asia's top hockey teams battle it out for the ultimate glory by buying the tickets from the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium in Egmore, Chennai between 11.00 AM to 6.00 PM at Gate No. 1. Tickets can be purchased for the Kalaignar Centenary Pavilion Level 1, East Stands, and South Stands of the stadium.





2024 U-21 Junior Women's National Team Selection Camp Athletes Announced

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce the athletes selected to attend the U-21 Junior Women's National Team Selection Camp. These athletes were selected through their performance at the 2023 U-21 Junior and Senior Nexus Championship, presented by Osaka Hockey. All current U.S. Women’s National Team athletes that remain eligible for U-21 competition in 2024 have been included in this group.
