The team's arrival was marked by a delightful welcome ceremony at the airport, where local dignitaries, fans, and organizers greeted them with traditional music and dance performances.

KUALA LUMPUR: Media Prima radio stations Kool 101 and Hot FM were the latest to join hands with Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) to promote the Kuala Lumpur Junior World Cup which will be held at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Dec 5-16.





SA Indoor Hockey Men named for Sultan Nazrin Shah Cup



The South African Indoor Hockey men will return to action for the first time since their historic run to the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup Quarter Finals in February this year. The Men will be travelling to Malaysia to take place in the inaugural Sultan Nazrin Shah Cup alongside hosts Malaysia, Namibia, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

Friday afternoon saw No. 7 Virginia field hockey host No. 2 North Carolina on Turf Field in Charlottesville. The Cavaliers (10-5, 3-3 ACC) took a momentous 3-2 victory over the Tar Heels (12-3, 5-1 ACC) in dramatic fashion, coming back from a two-point deficit at halftime to score three goals within seven minutes in the third quarter. The win was extra special for Virginia fans as it came on Senior Day and a celebration of the program’s 50th anniversary.
