Germany win historic 18th women’s EuroHockey Indoor title with dominant final performance



Germany’s precision saw them win the women’s EuroHockey Indoor Championship for the 18th time and the third in succession as they defeated Czechia 5-2 in Prague.

A set of customary late shows from Germany mustered another EuroHockey Indoor Championship as the top-ranked women’s team defeated host Czechia 5-2 in Prague. It was a hat-trick of wins and their 18th in all.

Table-topper Kalinga Lancers edged Tamil Nadu Dragons via penalty shootout to remain unbeaten and register its sixth successive win in a tight contest of the Hockey India League at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

Semi-final places secured in Scottish men's indoor division 1

After today`s matches in Pool A it is Western Wildcats and Grange who will progress to the semi-finals. Dundee Wanderers are in third spot in the Pool and that leaves Uddingston in bottom spot.
