Great Britain men, Argentina women climb atop Pro League standings



Tonight marked the 200th FIH Pro League women’s game and it was the hosts, Argentina, who came out on top, 1-0, over Great Britain. The game was also a milestone for Leonas midfielder Eugenia Trinchinetti, celebrating her 150th international game, while Great Britain captain Hollie Pearne-Webb celebrated her 100th. Julieta Jankunas’ back-hand finish in the third minute was the lone goal in the game despite Argentina dominating in possession and attack.

Hollie Pearne-Webb reached the milestone of 100 Great Britain caps in Sunday evening's match with Argentina, becoming only the twelfth woman to hit a century of games in a Britain shirt.





Harry Martin moves into fifth in all-time Great Britain men's appearances



With his appearance in Sunday night's game with Argentina, Harry Martin moved into the top five men's appearance makers in Great Britain Hockey history.

"Great feeling to qualify for Pro League," says Indian skipper Savita Punia after FIH Nations Cup win

Indian Women's hockey team arrived at IGI Airport early on Monday morning without much fanfare after winning the inaugural FIH Nations Cup and qualifying for the FIH Pro League.

Delhi: As the national capital gripped further in the typical Delhi cold, the Indian Women's hockey team arrived at Terminal 3 of IGI Airport early on Monday morning without much fanfare after winning the inaugural FIH Nations Cup and qualifying for the FIH Pro League.

The win sealed India's berth in the 2023-24 Pro League.

Hockey India has announced a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh for each of the players of the Indian women's team which won the Nations Cup, beating Spain in the final.
