Bhubaneswar,: Indian Men's Hockey Team Chief Coach Graham Reid submitted his resignation to Hockey India President Padma Shri, Dr. Dilip Tirkey, a day after the conclusion of the FIH Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela.

A day after the Hockey World Cup came to an end with Germany crowned champion, the Indian team parted ways with its coach and support staff as the predictable off-field games began in earnest.

Germany were crowned champions of the world for the first time in 17 years after their remarkable comeback victory over Belgium in the final of the Hockey World Cup in India. With Paris 2024 just a year-and-a-half away, here are five things we learned from the tournament that give us some indication of how teams will perform at the next Olympic Games.

The 2023 FIH Hockey World Cup has come to an end with Germany lifting the trophy for the third time in history. It’s been a long wait for the newly crowned champions of the world, who last claimed the title 17 years ago, however a penalty win over Belgium in the final saw them once again take home a memorable gold medal.

Andre Henning took charge of an uncertain German hockey team in early 2022 and a year later, he was lost for words as his boys refused to give up, came back every time they were down and almost out and simply out-believed everyone else to lift the World Cup in front of a packed Kalinga Stadium on Sunday.

FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup South Africa 2023: Women’s Pool A Preview



The 12 best men’s and women’s teams from around the world are converging in Pretoria, South Africa as we countdown to the final few days till the start of the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup South Africa 2023! Each team comes with the aim of becoming indoor hockey world champions, but only one team can earn the highest honour at the end of the World Cup.
