Young Tigers hold off Indonesian threat even before final

INDONESIA have been the thorn in Malaysia’s flesh at the SEA Games but their threat was effectively eliminated before the final with a 4-2 win by the Young Tigers in the men’s field hockey round robin match at the Morodoc Techo National Sports Complex yesterday.

Bengaluru: The Indian Women's Hockey Team left for Adelaide, Australia today from the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru. The team led by ace goalkeeper Savita and Vice Captained by Deep Grace Ekka will play a five-match Series against the hosts at the Mate Stadium in a tour that is part of the Indian team's preparations for the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games 2023.

Hockey Haryana crowned Champions of 13th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2023



Rourkela: The 13th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2023 concluded today with defending Champions Hockey Haryana emerging as winners while Hockey Jharkhand finished second. Hockey Association of Odisha secured third place in the tournament after defeating Uttar Pradesh Hockey, here, at the world-class Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Odisha.

New Delhi: Hockey Haryana on Sunday were crowned Champions of the 13th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2023 after they defeated Hockey Jharkhand 3-2 in the final of the 11-day tournament which was held at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela, Odisha.  





FIH President engages with Continental Federations



 FIH President Tayyab Ikram, together with FIH CEO Thierry Weil and members of the FIH team, took the initiative to have an online interaction last week with Presidents and CEOs of the five Continental Federations – based in Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania and Pan America – to discuss about key strategic matters related to the global development of hockey and also receive updates from activities in their respective continents.
