Double delight for Belgium as both men’s and women’s teams triumph over GB
There was double joy for Belgium as both their men and women registered victories over Great Britain on the final day of the FIH Hockey Pro League mini-tournament in London. The Belgian men did well to rally from a thrashing at the hands of India two days earlier to emerge as 3-2 winners. In the corresponding women’s fixture, three goals in the space of six fourth-quarter minutes saw the Belgians claiming a 3-0 victory.

GB stage a comeback against India

Great Britain's men's (hockey) team staged a great comeback to come from two goals down against India and draw 4-4. The better side, they lost a chance to beat India for the second time in a week when India won a shoot-out 4-2.
A point from the match kept GB firmly on top of the FIH World Pro League, two points ahead of India with a game in hand. They meet 7th ranked Belgium today (Sunday).
Sam Ward scored all four of GB's goals, his last eight minutes from time.
Harmanpreet Singh, the league's top scorer, Mandeep Singh, Sukhjeet Singh and Abhishek scored India's goals.

Great Britain and England men's hockey player Sam Ward completed a century of goals in senior outdoor international hockey matches during the course of the match played between Great Britain and India ended in a draw 4-4, later in the shoot out India won the match by 4-2.
Samuel Ward known as 'Sam Ward' scored all the four goals of the match for Great Britain. When Sam Ward scored the second goal, he completed his100 goals in senior outdoor international field hockey matches.
Sam Ward made his international debut in 2014 since then he appeared in 177 international matches and scored 102 goals for Great Britain and England hockey teams:

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The U.S. Men’s National Team took on Jamaica in their first pool game of the 2023 Hockey5s Pan America Cups (PAC) at Mona Hockey Field in Kingston, Jamaica. After USA held a two goal advantage at the half, the hosts came back and tied it but the red, white and blue responded for the 4-2 victory.

New Delhi: The Indian Junior Women's Hockey Team came from behind to defeat Malaysia 2-1 in their second game of the Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2023 in Kakamigahara, Gifu Prefecture, Japan on Monday. After Dian Nazeri (6’) scored a goal for Malaysia, Mumtaz Khan (10’) and Deepika (26’) netted a goal each to help India win the game and remain on top of Pool A.
