Barcelona: The Indian Men’s Hockey Team came up with a valiant performance against the Netherlands, which recently won the FIH Hockey Pro League 2022-23 title, to record a 1-1 draw in an intensely-fought match here at the ongoing 100th Anniversary Spanish Hockey Federation - International Tournament on Wednesday.

The Indian women’s hockey team held Commonwealth Games champions England to a 1-1 draw in its opening match of the three-nation Torneo del Centenario 2023 in Terrassa, Spain on Wednesday.

EuroHockey Championship II Men, Day 4 Match Reports



IRELAND 6 PORTUGAL 2

Ireland secured the Pool A first place berth and a semi-final against Scotland on Friday evening with a 6-2 win over Portugal. It was a very close affair early on when Ireland raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to an 11th minute Benjamin Walker goal from open play and a converted penalty corner from Lee Cole on 19 minutes. Portugal responded through a David Franco converted penalty corner on 20 minutes to leave Ireland leading 2-1 at half time.





Scotland men rampant as they beat Turkey 10-0 in EuroHockey Championship II



It was a sensational goal scoring performance by Scotland men in Dublin as they won their final EuroHockey Championship II pool match 10-0 against Turkey. The match also saw Alan Forsyth score his 100th goal for Scotland, and now the Scots look ahead to playing in Friday’s semi-final.
