Bengaluru: The FIH on Friday moved the Women’s FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers to Ranchi, India from Changzhou, China. This development came after the Chinese Women's Hockey Team earned direct qualification to the Paris 2024 Olympics by winning the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022.

9 of 20 teams at Nationals studded with Dar Academy players

Pakistan's 67th National Hockey Championships is underway in Rawalpindi. 10 departmental and an equal number of provincial/regional teams are participating.
Lahore-based Dar Hockey Academy, which scouts talent from all over the country, has been the biggest reservoir of players in Pakistan for almost a decade. At every national championship, several Dar HA boys are seen in action for different sides. At this year`s nationals, again the presence of academy boys is awesome.
No less than nine of the 20 teams, including seven of the 10 departmental sides, have the services of a total of 25 academy boys. These include three captains: Rana Sohail (Customs), Asad Aziz (Navy)and Wasim Akram (Mari Petroleum).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 11 field hockey claimed its seventh Ivy title after defeating Penn 2-0 on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Berylson Field. With the win, Harvard has clinched at least a share of the Ivy title. For the second time in three years Harvard has won the Ivy Championship. Goals from Sage Piekarski and senior Mazarine Broze helped propel the Crimson to its championship-clinching victory.

In the Men’s category, Le Puducherry Hockey and Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu registered wins, while Kerala Hockey drew 2-2 with Hockey Karnataka.
