Germany Claim 2-0 Series Win against SA Women’s Hockey in Cape Town

South African Women’s Hockey team took to the turf one last time for the final test match against Germany in a tightly-contested tie played at SACS in Newlands, Cape Town, on Sunday 26 November.

Guatemala, from a group of friends idea to hosting a Central American Hockey 5 Championship



We know that this sport of stick and ball began, like many others, in England. But the story of how the activity spread to every corner of America is different. Guatemala is one of the countries in the Federation that, less than two decades ago, began to give more prominence to the discipline. The reason behind it originates from the idea of a group of friends, including the current president of the National Association.

The tenth edition of the FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup to be held Santiago, Chile form 29 November to 10 December, 2023.


16 teams are participating in the event divided into four pools:
Pool A: Australia, Chile, Netherlands and South Africa
Pool B: Argentina, South Korea, Spain and Zimbabwe
Pool C: Belgium, Canada, Germany and India
Pool D: England, Japan, New Zealand and United States
