Indian Women’s Team beat Malaysia 6-0 to continue their winning run at 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022

Monika, Deep Grace Ekka, Navneet Kaur, Vaishnavi Vitthal Phalke, Sangita Kumari, and Lalremsiami were the goalscorers for India



Hangzhou: Indian Women's Hockey Team on Friday registered their second consecutive victory at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, defeating Malaysia 6-0 in Pool A match. Monika (7’), Deep Grace Ekka (8’), Navneet Kaur (11’), Vaishnavi Vitthal Phalke (15’), Sangita Kumari (24’), and Lalremsiami (50’) scored a goal each for India.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian women's hockey team found world No. 7 India too hot to handle and went down 6-0 in an Asian Games match at the Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium in Hangzhou today.





Japanese men's and women's teams scored high scores

Japanese men's and women's hockey teams scored their highest scores in the Asian Games.

Japanese men's hockey team defeated Singapore by 14-0 (half time 7-0) in the 19th Asian Games 2022 at Gongshu Canal Sports Park field hockey field, Hangzhou, 2023. For the Japanese team Ryoma Ooka and Ryosei Kato scored hat tricks.

Gwalior: In the final day of the 3rd Khelo India Junior Women’s Hockey League 2023 (Finals) in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, SAI Shakti defeated SAI BAL by 2-0 to be crowned Champions of the competition. In another fixture, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat, 3-1, to finish third in the competition.

New Delhi: The group stage of the 1st Hockey India Sub Junior Men & Women East Zone Championship 2023 concluded on Friday in Ranchi, Jharkhand. In the Sub Junior Women’s category, Hockey Association of Odisha secured the top position with 13 points, closely followed by Hockey Jharkhand at 12 points. Having secured top 2 places in the points table, Hockey Association of Odisha and Hockey Jharkhand have confirmed their place in the Final and will be up against one another on Saturday at 10:00 hrs.
