Indian Men's Hockey Team forward Sukhjeet performed admirably at the FIH Men's Hockey Pro League 2022-23 matches against Spain and New Zealand at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar earlier this month. The 25-year-old forward started for India in all four games and even scored his third goal for the senior men's team during the match against New Zealand.

Both the South African women's and men’s indoor hockey teams took on Namibia as they begin their tournament training for the indoor world cup is set to take place next year in February.

With the FIH (International Hockey Federation) Hockey Indoor World Cup set to take place in Pretoria from February 5–11 next year, the South African teams are in preparations for the upcoming tournament.
