Monchengladbach — From a EuroHockey low against the hosts to their own home nations record, England put one step into the semi-finals and a likely showdown with world No.1 Netherlands on Tuesday.

Ireland women were by no means disgraced on Tuesday night as a 5-0 defeat overshadowed a spirited performance which ultimately saw the Green Army fall short of a first ever EuroHockey semi-finals. It finished a day where there were a quartet of five zero scorelines, underlining the ever-present Pro League against second tier teams who can barely summon Test match ranking points.

The hockey competition of the 2023 Pan American Games will open in Santiago, Chile, on Wednesday October 25, in the brand-new Estadio National, which will also be used later in the year for the Junior Women’s World Cup.

Düsseldorf: The Indian Junior Men's Hockey Team on Tuesday lost 1-6 to the hosts Germany in the Final of the 4 Nations Tournament - Dusseldorf 2023 to finish the tournament as runners-up. Sudeep Chirmako (22') scored the lone goal for India. Germany's goals came from Florian Sperling (15'), Ben Hasbach (20'), Hugo von Montgelas (23'), Fabio Seitz (38'), Nikas Berendts (41'), and Paul Glander (43').

Düsseldorf: The Indian Junior Women’s Hockey Team put up a strong performance by winning 2-1 against Spain at the 4 Nations Tournament-Dusseldorf 2023 on Tuesday. Annu (21') and Sakshi Rana (47’) scored a goal each for India. For Spain, Lima Teresa (23’) was on target.

Jharkhand Asian Champions Trophy Ranchi 2023 to be held in Ranchi in October-November

The prestigious tournament will be held in India for the first time



New Delhi: Good news for Indian hockey fans as Hockey India and the Government of Jharkhand today announced Ranchi, Jharkhand as the venue for the prestigious Jharkhand Asian Champions Trophy Ranchi 2023 for women. This will be the seventh edition of the coveted tournament which is scheduled to be held from 27th October to 5th November 2023.





Women’s ACT comes to India, as Hockey India finds another State to sponsor



Come October, India will see another Asian premier tournament on its soils. It will be hosting the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy at Ranchi, capital of Jharkhand State. Six top Asian nations including Thailand will be in action at Ranchi, home of India’s first Olympic captain, Jaipal Singh Munda. It will start on 27th Oct.





MCC-Murugappa Gold Cup set to return to Chennai after four years
